2000 sq feet lawn, how to use Southern Ag Chelated Liquid Iron

How much water and product should I put into my pump sprayer for 2000 sq ft ? Can I go heavier on liquid iron with same amount of water ? Should I water in after application and how long should I wait to do this if so ? If I use Ortho Dial N Spray do you know what setting I should place it at for 2000 sq ft >

Answer:

Per the product label for Southern Ag Chelated Liquid Iron on Lawns you use 8-16 oz per 1,000 square feet in a sufficient volume of water to thoroghly wet the foliage and run-off in the root zones.  The rate is not give per amount of water as water is just the carrier and is not set.  You do not need to irrigate/water in after application when sufficient water is used and should apply when no rain/irrigation occurs within 24 hours. We have a video here that explains how to calibrate your sprayer for the amount of water it takes you to cover 1000 sqft

We would not advise using a hose-end sprayer as most do not go tas high as you need for this product and the rate is not set per gallon of water dispersed as a hose end needs.
