    How much 2,4-D Amine Herbicide do I use per gallon of water?

    2,4-D Amine has rates per area, such as 1-2 pints per acre, based on where you are using the product. Can you please tell us where you are applying the product so that we can better assist you? If you are treating in turfgrass, then you would need to select a different product that is labeled for that application. Please let us know if you need assistance.     What is the application rate per 1,000 sqft on residential Bermuda lawn when using 2,4 D Amine Herbicide?
    I have a 4 gallon backpack sprayer that covers 4K sqft.

    The rate of 2,4 - D Amine Herbicide will depend on the type(s) of weeds that you are treating. The product label states that it would be 2 pints per acre for annual weeds and 2-3.15 pints per acre for biennial and perennial weeds. This can be converted down  and a use rate of 2 quarts per acre would be equal to 1.5 tbsp or 0.75 oz per 1000 sq ft.
