Acclaim Extra or Drive XLR8? Which is better/more cost effective?

Mostly concerned with crabgrass. I was looking at Acclaim Extra or Drive XLR8. Was leaning towards the Drive as it seems it covers some of the broad leaf also and is less expensive as I have 1.5 acres to cover. What is your suggestion as to the effectiveness of Drive over Acclaim?

Answer:

Both Drive XLR8 and Acclaim Extra Sensitive Herbicide are excellent post-emergent herbicides. We would recommend making sure that the type of turf you have can be used with either one. Drive XLR8 does specifically say that it is NOT labeled for St. Augustine, Centipede, Bahiagrass, Bentgrass and Dichondra. If you could let us know what type of turf you have, we would be happy to recommend one of these products for you. Please let us know.
