Dinotefuran is a relatively new insecticide belonging to the class of insecticides known as neonicotinoids, which are among the most widely used insecticides in the world.  Dinotefuran products are labeled "Reduced-Risk" by the EPA, meaning they have very low toxicity and are generally safer around humans, pets and the environment.

Target Pests

Mode of Action
Dinotefuran is a central nervous system inhibitor.  Ingestion leads to death within a few hours.

Toxicity
Pest Control products with dinotefuran are usually labeled reduced-risk by the EPA, meaning they are much less toxic to humans and mammals. Always use pesticides containing dinotefuran as directed on the product label
