You would not want to bomb in areas that the Advion Roach Bait Gel would be applied or bomb after applying the Advion as this can contaminate the bait and make it less attractive.
In general it would not be recommended to apply Advion Roach Bait Gel if you are not treating for an active infestation. If there are no roaches present to consume the bait you would basically be wasting the product. We do have a great guide on How to Prevent Roaches that would offer better advice towards preventing.
Advion Roach Bait Gel is an actual food source for roaches. So if you have only seen one roach currently we would not recommend you put it out as it can attract roaches to the area. You could have brought them with you in boxes when moving. Monitor your areas, and should you see more roaches then we would recommend using the Advion at that time.
Yes, it is normal to see an increase in activity as the roaches nervous systems are being affected after consuming Advion Roach Bait Gel. Make sure to keep replacing the bait every 2-3 weeks and respraying Demon WP along cracks and crevices, around windows and doors, behind appliances, etc every 7-10 days. If you are not using an IGR, we recommend the Gentrol Point Source Packs to help stop the reproduction.

The Advion Roach Bait Gel active ingredient would only work on roaches. However, if you are treating for roaches, you are also eliminating a food source for the spiders, so they may leave the area in order to find food elsewhere.
You want to apply the Advion Roach Bait Gel every 2 weeks (cleaning up previous bait placements). Give it some time depending on the level of activity and how long they have been present. Baiting will take more time to transfer through the population. We also suggest applying a perimeter residual spray and an insect growth regulator (IGR) in your treatment process along with non-chemical methods. Advion Roach Bait Gel can certainly help at the beginning of an infestation. If you are seeing a new population, then there are most likely more in the wall void areas that you are not seeing as well. We would recommend using more than one product so that you are sure that you are getting all the areas that could be affected, such as the products that come in our Roach Control Kits. These provide a bait, insecticide, and an IGR (Insect Growth Regulator). Generally, you need all three to get a roach problem not only under control, but eliminated as well. We would not recommend applying any products inside the TV, but you could apply Advion Roach Bait Gel on a piece of tin foil or plastic wrap and set it on and under the flat screen TV. The roaches will be attracted to the gel and eat it and this will help kill the roaches. It will not stop them from dying in the device, however. You could also surround the device with insect glueboards to trap the roaches as they leave to feed.
The inert ingredients in a product such as Advion Roach Bait Gel are considered proprietary and do not have to be disclosed. Advion Roach Bait Gel? has no odor as listed on the Safety Data Sheet but should only be applied is small pea size drops as this is more attractive to roaches Place every 10-12 inches where activity is noted. Applying too much would just make the roaches less likely to eat it. There are food based attractants in the product but any possible smell would not be harmful. It would only be harmful if you were to physically ingest a large quantity of the bait. While you could use both Advion Roach Bait Gel and Alpine at the same time it would be better to instead rotate between them every 3-4 months to prevent resistance build up to any one bait.
We recommend using a roach bait gel in most situations when you are actively finding roaches, especially in areas with lots of moisture like in a bathroom. Bait gel has more moisture than bait stations, it’s easy to apply directly into cracks and crevices, and you do not have to worry about the small size of stations that keep some roaches from entering. Using Gentrol along with a bait gel is perfect to control those smaller roaches, as well.
