We would would recommend contacting the company that did the fogging to find out the residual of the fogger they used. Foggers generally are used as a flushing treatment and do not leave a long residual. Advion Roach Bait Gel is one of the best roach baits to use but if you have been dealing with roaches for an extended period of time, we recommend using on our Roach Control Kits. Roaches are a persistent pest and require multiple treatments using a combination of products in order to be completely eradicated. Advion Roach Bait Gel is an actual food source for roaches. So if you have only seen one roach currently we would not recommend you put it out as it can attract roaches to the area. You could have brought them with you in boxes when moving. Monitor your areas, and should you see more roaches then we would recommend using the Advion at that time.
We do recommend that you apply the Advion Roach Bait Gel every couple of weeks (after cleaning up previous bait placements). Baiting is going to take some time. Advion Roach Bait Gel? has no odor as listed on the Safety Data Sheet but should only be applied is small pea size drops as this is more attractive to roaches Place every 10-12 inches where activity is noted. Applying too much would just make the roaches less likely to eat it. There are food based attractants in the product but any possible smell would not be harmful. It would only be harmful if you were to physically ingest a large quantity of the bait. Yes, Advion Roach Bait Gel can be used with the bait plate stations. You should remove the perforated tab so that roaches will still have access to the bait. For most roach bait applications, it is best to apply the bait directly into cracks and crevices to make it most available and attractive to roaches. The manufacturer of Advion Cockroach Gel Bait has recently changed how they mark the product with the release date. Per the manufacturer it does have a 5 year shelf life from this date.
You should place Advion Roach Bait Gel out as often as needed. Baits and sprays are not used in the same areas. We have a great video here on where you should be placing the bait. We also recommend that you use an IGR (insect growth regulator) in addition to the bait. This will help prevent the infestation from getting larger while you are eliminating it. To store an open tube of Advion Cockroach Gel Bait, simply recap and store in a cool, dry place. The shelf life of an opened tube is 1 year.
Advion Roach Bait gel should be safe to use around any pet as long as you keep the application out of reach of the pet. Since you are applying a gel and not a spray, there is nothing released into the air where sensitive animals such as birds could run into respiratory issues. That being said, you should always defer to your veterinarian's advice. We do not have any other written safety information other than the information available on the product label and the MSDS. No, Advion Cockroach Gel Bait does not release chemicals into the air.
In general it would not be recommended to apply Advion Roach Bait Gel if you are not treating for an active infestation. If there are no roaches present to consume the bait you would basically be wasting the product. We do have a great guide on How to Prevent Roaches that would offer better advice towards preventing.
While you could use both Advion Roach Bait Gel and Alpine at the same time it would be better to instead rotate between them every 3-4 months to prevent resistance build up to any one bait.
Advion Roach Bait Gel should be kept away from extreme temperatures and used within a year from date of purchase. It will be applied once every two weeks (cleaning up the old bait placements previously applied).
You would not want to bomb in areas that the Advion Roach Bait Gel would be applied or bomb after applying the Advion as this can contaminate the bait and make it less attractive.

We would not recommend applying any products inside the TV, but you could apply Advion Roach Bait Gel on a piece of tin foil or plastic wrap and set it on and under the flat screen TV. The roaches will be attracted to the gel and eat it and this will help kill the roaches. It will not stop them from dying in the device, however. You could also surround the device with insect glueboards to trap the roaches as they leave to feed.
Yes, roaches can become resistant to Advion Roach Bait Gel (or any other roach bait gel) over time if the same active ingredient is continuously used.
