Billy from Kenney, Il writes

After the 6x6 perimeter trench has been treated, would it be advisable to fill the trench with rock or gravel

Would filling the trench with rock or gravel allow for future treatments without re-digging the trench as the rock/gravel would remain permeable? Perhaps this would reduce effectiveness of the treatment as it would also allow water to access the treated soil.

Answer:

The trench should be filled back with the soil you removed to create it so that it can be treated and create the area termites will go through to contact the Termidor SC.  It will last 10 years or more in the soil.
