    Application rate? How is Aluminum Sulfate or other aluminum sulfate products applied?
    Broadcast spreader? Is the aluminum sulfate granular or prilled?
    A

    Southern Ag Aluminum Sulfate can be applied using a spreader if covering a large area, or by hand wearing gloves for smaller applications. This is most often used around acid-loving trees and shrubs. Be sure to water the product into the soil after application. You can view the full product label here.

    Is Aluminum Sulfate safe for use in a vegetable garden?
    A

    This Aluminum Sulfate is not labeled for vegetables or edibles. This product is only labeled for use on acid- loving plants such as Azaleas, Rhododendrons, Camellias, Gardenias, Holly, Blueberries, Yew, Dogwood, Viburnum, Laurel, Cedar, Hemlock, and Black Alder.
