The Bellow Hand Duster is easy to use. Lift the top cap, fill with powder product, replace cap and just squeeze the bellows and your powder product comes out. The duster could use a longer extension for hard to reach places. The bellows should be more ergonomic (hand cramps after long periods). Overall a decent product.

Was much smaller than I expected but the quality seems very good. This would be much more useful if there was a longer tube available.

The duster seems to shoot out a lump of dust (using Drione) most times. Have tried it 1/8 full, 1/4 full, 1/2 full, 3/4 full with same results. Maybe I am doing something else wrong? I noticed I need to shake it up or turn it upside down then turn it back right side up (fill cap is the top) to reduce the clumping. Bulb duster may be better, but haven't tried it yet. Drione definitely kills the Carpenter ants.

This is a good, reasonably priced product which does what it says it will do; that is, applying insecticidal dusts. However, I'm using it exclusively for carpenter bee control, and the dust must be applied up into their carefully drilled holes. Up, not sideways. The rigid tip on the applicator makes this impossible. This caused an issue for me, but I was able to work out a solution. I bought a length of flexible tubing and duct- taped it to the end of the applicator tip. This allows me to bend the tubing and shove it into the bee holes. It would be nice if a piece of tubing could be included as a free "accessory." Mine cost 54 cents at Lowe's.

Works fairly well once you get familiar with it. It likes to put out a thick puff then lighten up. Then you shake it a little and another thick puff. After awhile you get a feel for it and can even it out some.

Seems like a quality product. I like the fact that the container is translucent, being able to see how much dust is in it. But the container seems too soft; I am having a hard time getting used to it and am delivering too much dust with each application (no matter how lightly I squeeze it). I may try to wrap it with duct tape to stiffen it up, but then I won't be able to see how much dust is in the duster. I guess the jury is still out.

At times it seems to work fine, and other times it's hard to get the powder out; I guess "inconsistent" would be how I would describe it.

The bellow hand duster works well, but would be better if the metal tubing where the dust comes through, would be more tapered at the end. When you go to use it in small spaces, too much dust comes out. Needs to be more of a tapered end.

You can adjust how much dust comes out of the duster in two ways. First, try filling the duster with less duster. Secondly, adjust the orientation at which you hold the duster: hold the duster upside down, with the black stopper on the bottom, to release the smallest amount of dust.

I'm not sure if I did something wrong or not but this duster gave me the flux. Each time I puffed it a cloud of smoke came out but not really enough to disperse in one area. A couple times it actually became clogged and nothing came out. I didn't care for it. It felt like a waste of money.

Thank you for your comments! The point of using a hand duster like the bellow hand duster is to prevent over-dusting and to direct the insecticide right into cracks and crevices where it needs to be applied. You should barely be able to see the dust, and really, you should not see any at all when using it because the tip of the duster should be directed into a void, crack, or crevice. To prevent clogging, be sure your duster is completely dry after any cleaning and use a few small pebbles or coins in the duster to prevent clumping. You can also unscrew the rod at the back of the duster and use it to clean the extension rod. Please let us know if you have further questions or concerns!

this duster works fairly well but seems to plug up easily. It's hard to tell when it isn't dusting if you have the tip out of view. You just have to tip it backwards to clear the tube and go after it again.

I found this bellow worked as far as blowing it where we needed it as long as it was close by. However, for hard to reach places in the Attic, I found it was awkward. For someone who has arthritis, it was really hard to keep pumping and holding on to it while spraying. Maybe a handle of some sort?

This duster clogs up quite a bit. I like the grenade duster better than this duster?

We apologize if you had any issues with the duster. We would recommend filling the Bellow Hand Duster only 2/3 full, as well as adding some small pebbles or coins to prevent clumping. Use with the cap facing the ground and gently puff the dust. The included cleaning tool can be used in the extension to clear a path for the dust to disperse. We also suggest using only fine insecticide dust through this applicator

I have always enjoyed working with the hand duster.  It allows you to get into small areas and cracks and crevices where the insects hide and live. A great tool to use.

There are more expensive dusters on the market and I believe the old saying "you get what you pay for".  In this case as a home owner and not a professional, I took a chance on the least expensive and am happy with my choice. Follow directions and it will work four stars good.

This duster works very efficiently in dispensing the Delta Dust powder for the dreaded stink bug. When you apply the powder for the first time with the hand duster you may get a little more than you think you need. After using the duster several times you can easily calculate how much pressure to use on the bellows to get the amount of dust you need.

I purchased this duster to try and rid my home of carpenter ants. It is very easy to use. Just fill with boric acid, point the "wand", then squeeze the bellow. I did need to shake it or tip it upside down then right-side up to get the fine misty powder sometimes, but it does the job. I'm happy with the purchase price, the ease of use, and the quick shipping. But mostly I'm happy to have found this device because I couldn't find it anywhere in town. Thank you! I will shop your site again.

Received item very quickly and in perfect condition. Too bad that there are absolutely no instructions included, so everything is an experiment. Still not quite sure how to adjust stream/quantity but seems to work well. Instructions would help in cleaning also as I'm afraid that the powder entry ports may clog.

This duster works very well. I'm using pure boric acid at this time, and will probably add a bit of insecticide to it. I find that I have to be careful when squeezing it to only let out a tiny amount at a time, so as to leave an almost invisible coating of the dust, and not a pile here and there. I have been advised by a pest control professional that roaches will not walk into a pile of boric acid or other material, if they can see it they will go around it. So the person using this duster should make sure they are not squeezing too hard and letting out too much. Other than that, it's a great little device and I'm glad I got it.

good product. looks different than the pic but thats a good thing. I purchased one like the one in the pic from another company and it didnt last long. this one I much better made. a little bigger than the other but I can tell it will last. I recommend.

Works great . BUT! Disintegrated in one year. I stored this item in an outdoor shed in Northern Georgia ( mild winters ) went to use it in the spring and found it falling apart . The bellows just rotted away.However, it worked so well and was so cheep I ordered another for the 2012 season.

This is a very simple hand duster. I used it to spread diatomaceous earth (which I like to use in lieu of pesticides since we have pets) around our baseboards in the dining room and kitchen. At first, I couldn't tell if anything was coming out, but I held it in front of a sunny window and I was able to see a very fine, light dust coming out of the end. This duster gives you the ability to apply very precise, light coverage.

Convenient, minimal mess, delivered promptly at fair price. Must hold belows down to deliver dust mist. If bellows on top, then "glob" of DE dust delivered. Mist of dust is more effective than "glob" re: ant control on perimeters. Very satisfied.
