We have a new yard with bermuda sod that was recently laid. But, the "yard" next to us is a empty lot full of weeds. I am using Drive XLR8 Herbicide w/ Primo Source Duo Stick and Prodiamine 65. But, now I am wanting to add a fertilizer to my yard as well. Can you give me some recommendations?
We recommend using a soil analysis test kit or taking a sample of your soil to your local cooperative extension so your soil can be analyzed to determine what nutrients your soil is lacking. The healthiest, hardiest lawns are fertilized 2-4 times per year, fall, summer, early spring and late spring We do have a soil test kit here.
