The B&G Robco 5-in-1 Termite Treatment Kit can only be used with large spray rigs for power spraying. The fifth piece of this kit is an attachment that you can take the rods off and turn it into a power sprayer.
The Operating Instructions on page 5 state for connecting to a pump, you can connect the hose from the pump by:
1) a female quick-connect on the pump hose and a male quick connect on the tool (supplied by operator), or
2) a hose connected directly from the pump to the valve.
The thread size of the input port in the valve is 3/8 inch female pipe thread (FPT).
The B&G Robco 5-in-1 Termite Treatment Kit #420 is for use with a large spray rig and will not work with hand held pump sprayers or backpack sprayers. For smaller scale termite applications and if treating across concrete where there are previously drilled holes, Taurus SC would be the recommended termiticide application to treat soil under concrete and continuing the barrier treatment for a Subterranean Termite Trench Treatment.
Holes should be spaced 10-12 inches apart, remove cap/plug to the hole, using an 18-24 inch hammer drill bit, clean out the hole of any backed up dirt or debris. Using a hand pump sprayer, mix 0.8 fl oz per gallon of water, using the pin stream spray pattern on the sprayer, spray roughly ½ gallon of mixed solution directly into each hole. Once solution has settled into the holes, replace cap/plug to seal concrete.
View our Subterranean Termite Treatment Guide for more information on applications across concrete.
