    Q
How many applications of Bifen IT to eridicate clover mites?
We had professional pest control company using Bifenthrin insectide for clover mites but the mites are still out of control. How often does this need to be done? How can you spray under siding?
    A

How many applications it will take to completely eliminate clovers mites will depend on the level of infestation.  Bifen IT can be applied outdoors every 30 days for clover mites and other listed insects when used as the highest rate, or every 7 days at the lower rate.  You may also take a few moments to read over our article on clover mite control to learn how to implement a successful control program that includes non chemical steps.

    Q
    Bifenthrin a repellent?
I’ve used Bifen I/T, BMaxx bifenthrin and it works well on killing insects. I’ve never seen it repel insects. It does repel ants from the treated area. It kills quick but doesn’t repel ants or other insects
    A

Bifen IT is considered a repellent because insects can detect it. This does not mean they are truly repelled from the area they can just choose to avoid it as they know something is there. They must contact the treated area to be effected by the product though
