    You will mix 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 tbs. of Bonide Fruit Tree Spray Concentrate per gallon of water to treat for mealybugs.

    Is it normal that the fruit tree spray made my sprayer explode?
    I used the Bonide fruit tree spray in a little 3 quart sprayer and mixed 1tbsp in with water. After spraying my trees I had about 2 inches left in the sprayer after about 10 minutes of it sitting, it made the sprayer explode as it ate through the plastic (like an acid, it also ate through a expandable hose when the concentrate spilt on it) Is this normal?

    When is the best time to apply Bonide Fruit Tree Spray on apple trees?
    A

    Bonide Fruit Tree Spray Concentrate is labeled to protect apple trees from listed insects and disease so you would want to apply before they become an issue.  After you apply the Bonide Fruit Tree Spray Concentrate it will kill for up to 1 week. If insects or disease is still present, you can apply a 2nd time. Bonide recommends alternating insecticides when treating to help prevent resistancy to active ingredients. You could alternate with a product such as Fertilome Triple Action.

    Can I use Bonide Fruit Tree Spray on raspberries for Japanese beetles?

    Bonide Fruit Tree Spray Concentrate is not labeled for raspberries.  We would recommend using Fertilome Triple Action. This is safe for use over edibles and is an insecticide, fungicide and miticide all in one. This can be applied every 14 days as needed, and can be used right up until the day of harvest.

    Per the Bonide Fruit Tree Spray Concentrate SDS sheet this material is classified as RCRA hazardous waste. Open dumping or burning of this material is prohibited and you would need to follow federal, state and local regulations. Be sure not to flush material in a drain or storm sewer. Contact your local sanitation department for authorized disposal service.

    How do I need to mix Bonide Fruit Tree Spray Concentrate for spraying my grape vine?
    A

    Bonide Fruit Tree Spray Concentrate is mixed at 1.5-2.5 tbsp per gallon for grapes (amount depends on stage of fruit-please refer to page 5 of the product label for complete details). You do not want to exceed 2 quarts per 100 sq ft of grapevine, no more than two applications per year and do not spray within 7 days of harvest and minimal interval is 14 days.

    While Bonide Fruit Tree Spray Concentrate is not specifically labeled for use on pear trees, it should not harm them.  We would just recommend not eating anything from the tree that could have been sprayed during application.

    Bonide Fruit Tree Spray Concentrate is applied at a rate of no more than two quarts of spray per grapevine and no more than two applications per year. You should not treat within 7 days of harvest with a minimum of 14 day retreatment interval.

    Bonide fruit tree spray is not labeled for Citrus trees. We recommend using Bonide Citrus, fruit, and nut Orchard Spray. Bonide Citrus, Fruit, and nut spray will also treat for insects and disease using all natural ingredients.

    You need to applyBonide Fruit Spray Concentrate when you are not expecting any rain within 24 hours. If it rains heavily after you applied you might need to reapply, but make no more than 3 applications per year.

    The products contain different active ingredients.  Bonide Fruit Tree Spray Concentrate contains: Captan 11.76% Malathion 6% Carbaryl 0.3% and Bonide Fruit Tree and Plant Guard Concentrate contains: Pyraclostrobin 3.06%, boscalid 5.62%, lambda-Cyhalothrin 0.5%

    When applied to apple trees per the label instructions, Bonide Fruit Tree Spray Concentrate will not cause apples to fall off.  Be sure to apply during cooler times of the day.
