    Can I spray Bonide Grass Beater Over-The-Top Grass Killer Concentrate over turnips, collards and mustard plants?

    Bonide Grass Beater Over-The-Top Grass Killer Concentrate is labeled for use on listed edible vegetation such as collards and mustard. It does not specifically label turnips so we do not suggest application.

    Will Bonide Grass Beater Over-The-Top Grass Killer Concentrate harm succulents or cactus?
    Have small cactus garden with grass invading.

    Bonide Grass Beater Over-The-Top Grass Killer Concentrate is labeled for use on and around trees and bushes.  However, we would recommend you contact Bonide regarding the affects on succulents and cactus (excluding barrel cactus which is listed) since these are not listed on the product label

    Is Bonide Grass Beater safe to use under fruit trees and vines?
    I am looking for a product to control lawn grass under my fruit trees and grape vines. I would like to have a bare area around the trunk to prevent damage when trimming/mowing. Will Bonide Grass Beater harm the fruit trees, grape vines, raspberry canes etc. Will it be safe to eat the fruit following use of this product?

    Lost label instructions for the Bonide Grass Beater Over-The-Top Grass Killer Concentrate. Need to know how much of the product to use per gallon of water?

    Bonide Grass Beater Over-The-Top Grass Killer is mixed at 0.55-1.38 oz. per gallon of water to treat 1,000 sq. ft.  Please refer to the product label for complete application instructions.

    How long should I wait before spraying Grass Beater a 2nd time to kill Bermuda grass?
    Trying to kill it in beds before mulching.

    Bonide Grass Beater Over-The-Top Grass Killer Concentrate mix rate ranges from 0.55 fl oz to 1.38 fl oz per 1,000 sq ft depending on the grassy weeds you are targeting. Please review Table 6 & 7 on the product label for application rates

    Can Bonide Grass Beater Over-The-Top be sprayed directly on tomato plants?
    Also how soon can you plant vegetables after spraying?

    Bonide Grass Beater Over-The-Top Grass Killer Concentrate can be used over the top of tomatos as directed on the product label.  You have to wait 30 days after application to plant in the area.

    How do you measure 0.80 fluid oz of Bonide Grass Beater Over-the-Top Grass Killer Concentrate?
    Can this be put into a teaspoon or Tablespoon measurement?

    You could use a measuring cup, measuring spoon, or pipette to measure the correct amount of Bonide Grass Beater Over-The-Top Concentrate. 0.8 fl oz is 4.8 teaspoons or 1.6 tablespoons. For measurements under 1 oz, medicine tools work very well. (Do not use any tools for herbicides/pesticides for any other uses.)

    Will grass beater only affect plants in the poaceae family?

    Poaceae can be considered an herbaceous grass and could be harmed by Bonide Grass Beater Over-The-Top Grass Killer Concentrate. We recommend to spot treat around it.

    Bonide Grass Beater Over-The-Top Grass Killer Concentrate is only labeled for annual and perennial grass weeds in groundcovers, trees, shrubs, flower beds, and gardens. It will not harm desirable plants when used according to the instructions on the product label.

    Will Bonide Grass Beater Over-The-Top Grass Killer Concentrate harm Penstemon?

    Bonide Grass Beater Over-The-Top Grass Killer Concentrate is not labeled as safe for penstemon. We cannot advise it. We would recommend for you to spot treat with a Roundup-type product (such as Roundup QuikPRO).

    Bonide Grass Beater Over-The-Top Grass Killer Concentrate should not harm juniper when used as directed on the product label which states many species as tolerable to it.
