Apply product evenly, cultivate lightly and water thoroughly for best results. For containerized plants, apply the appropriate amount of granules evenly to the top of the soil. Mix the granules thoroughly into the top layer of the soil making sure not to damage the upper roots. water in thoroughly. To help assure that the roots can absorb the insecticide, do not water too heavily for the first 10 days. Work granules into top 1 to 2 inches of soil. For flower beds, sprinkle granules evenly over the bed.

I have many houseplants & just when I think everything is doing well I find some kind of bug, usually in the soil. I tried this on a whim instead of my normal practices, and (actually the reason I tried it is because I like D.M.O. company so well!) It works for me so far & I used it also as a preventive in plants that had no bugs. The reason I gave it 4 stars, is it is expensive for the amount you need to use.

Didn't Work

I bought this thinking it would solve the problem I was having with my indoor plants, but it was only a quick fix. It said to use (I believe if I recall correctly) every 8 wks. I had the tiny knats back after 2 weeks. It was not as I was hoping for by any means.

I water my African Violet from bottom only, in a self-watering pot, Can I put the indicated amount of granules in the water of this self watering pot? African Violets do not like to have water around they leaves or stems, so putting it on the soil and watering it in is out, and I already purchased the product.
Bonide Systemic Houseplant Insect Control would not be placed in water, it must be applied as directed on the label. Mix the granules thoroughly into the top layer of the soil making sure not to damage the upper roots. Water in thoroughly. Mixing with water first would break the product down, making it ineffective. The watering in is just to get it down to the roots in the soil.

According to the manufacturer, Bonide Systemic Houseplant Insect Control has not been tested on Cannabis so it should not be used on those plants. Unfortunately, right now there are very few products labeled for use on cannabis. We would recommend checking with you state department of agriculture to see what they have approved for use.

Or I can't eat the fruits from this tree anymore?
Bonide Systemic Houseplant Insect Control is for use on containerized plants, but this excludes edible plants. Since the product has already been applied you should not consume the fruit.

I have a plant that uses Bonide Neem Oil.... however it seems that the Neem Oil is not working effectively.... is it possible to mix the granules in the soil also for an extra layer of protection
Because Bonide Systemic Houseplant Insect Control is applied directly to the soil and watered in for a systemic treatment, it can be applied at the same time or the same day you spray Neem Oil on your plant.
