Bonide Systemic Insect Control is an insecticide, it is not meant to kill plants but it is also not labeled to be used in containerized plants, you can use Hi-Yield Systemic Insect Granules instead.
Bonide Systemic Insect Control is applied as a foliar spray and will work systemically to translocate throughout the plant. This is not labeled for soil drench applications.
