    Q
Is Bonide Systemic Insect Control applied as a soil drench or foliar spray for outside ferns?
    A

Bonide Systemic Insect Control is applied as a foliar spray and will work systemically to translocate throughout the plant. This is not labeled for soil drench applications.

Dominion 2L Insecticide would be an alternative systemic insecticide for soil drenching around ornamentals, shrubs, flowers, groundcovers & trees for listed target insects. You will use 0.1 to 0.2 fl oz per inch of trunk diameter (D.B.H – diameter at breast height) in no less than 10 gallons of water to evenly pour around the base out to the canopy.

Please review the Soil Drench Application Section on page 11 of the product label
