    Q
If overspray occurs while applying Bora-Care, is it necessary to clean those surfaces in which people may come into contact with?
    A
Bora-Care can be applied by spraying, painting or brushing onto surfaces. In areas where overspray is a concern, it is recommended to cover any unwanted areas or apply the treatment by brushing or painting directly onto the surface. If overspray should occur, you will need to clean and wipe those surfaces to remove any residual.

    Q
Will Boracare overspray affect stained sealed concrete floor and granite countertops?
We put rough cut pine trim all in our barn home and realized it had powder beetles. A pest control sprayed all the wood. Came today and treated with Boracare. Our stained sealed concrete floor and granite counter tops and painted cabinets had spray on them and floor had lots of spay puddled on it. Will it affect any of these? New construction.
    A

If Boracare overspray got onto any finished surfaces, then should be able to clean those areas with warm, soapy water to remove any Boracare residual. The Boracare will not be absorbed into wood, concrete, or other surfaces that are finished, so it should be easy to wash off.

    Q
Does BoraCare overspill stay sticky on plastic floor tarps?
I'm going to paint/spray on a wood ceiling. Is the overspray/drippage onto my plastic floor tarps going to dry completely so it's not a problem walking on them and I can use the tarps again? Or is the overspray/drippage always going to be sticky since it's going to be sitting on the surface of the plastic instead of soaking into bare wood?
    A

The water that Boracare is mixed with will eventually evaporate, and it will dry. You could also wash the product off the tarp and reuse it.

    Q
I got Bora-Care on my kitchen sink, is it toxic?
How can I clean this off? Bleach?
    A

Boracare should not be applied to food contact surfaces. If there were overspray on sinks, countertops, floors, etc., then you could wipe up the excess with a disposable cloth and then clean the area with warm, soapy water. To prevent contamination in the future, it is recommended to cover non-target surfaces with a tarp or drop cloth before applying Boracare indoors.
