My husband REALLY wanted a bug-a-salt gun. So i ordered one for Christmas. My mistake was ordering 2. I thought "oh well, my fault". It was just before Christmas and was afraid it might not arrive quick enough, it did with several days to spare( just like promised). I was expecting my hysband any minute, so i wrapped it in a hurry and stuck it under the tree. Never even opened it. I thought it was just one of the guns. So waited a few more days for the second one to arrive, when it hadnt by Dec23, I sent an email. WOW! within just a few minutes, i received a response, letting me know that both were shipped in the same box. My husband is thrilled, its exactly as advertised, and customer sevice was better than perfect!

So went out to shoot some bugs and found some flies. Worked awesome. Got excited and thought I would get rid of some wasp while I was at it. Turns out it doesn't kill wasp! Just really pisses them off. Karma I think.

Easy to use, for all ages (especially the old porch setter). Fly shooting is quickly becoming our favorite family event. So far the one to beat shot 3 flies in mid air consecutively. Lock and load!!

If you want to kill bugs with a gun, and save yourself some $$!! Go find a cheap pellet gun(Walmart usually has them for $15-$20. Pull the end off of Q-tip and use as a "wad" pushing down with small chopstick*. Put aprox. 1/8-1/4 teaspoon of salt (I prefer coarse)down gun barrel. Pack down with chopstick planning to shoot downward, pack small amount of other end of Q-tip down on top. BE CAREFUL!! Depending on # of pumps, can shoot into skin(OOOUCH!). This will save $ and take down a cicada! Or any large, non-armored bug. ENJOY!!! *If chopstick is too wide, simply shave strips off with knife until thin enough.

I'm always having trouble killing flies in the house. This gun is excellent for taking out those nasty critters. I did find that sea salt is more effective at killing flies and yellow jackets as it is a bit more coarse than table salt and has greater impact.

This is a fun item, I wish it would do better on Flitch fly's the ones that hover and dart around, too hard to hit when flying but if one lands this thing is a hoot! I wish there was a full auto version for one's on the fly! Very fun item for pay back on fly's, I cant stand them. The salt gun is fun!

I just love having dead flies and salt in my food every day so of course I bought the bug assault. Why wouldn't you want to have uncontrollable salt and dead bug guts and your food. Just go ahead and waste your money now do it I DARE YOU.

Got mine today and eliminated dozens of flies. For each dispatched adolescent fly, hundreds of thousands of potential maggots were never laid. Also dismissed a poisonous spider (recluse). Better than sliced bread. I'm going to order more as gifts.

I am passionate hunter with all sorts of rifles for hunting everything. This has got to be one of my favourite guns. My wife shot a wolf spider from about 1 ft away and the spider shattered. So well worth the fun and it's very effective. You can shoot a little further than 3 ft also. Not bad accuracy at all. I got the camo bug a salt.

I have the 2.0 camo edition. I absolutely love this thing. I don't know if it was made to kill wasps or not but it will, and I usually camp out by a pile of dog doo and kill flies when I get bored. It has provided me with hours of entertainment.

Got this for the lizards and frogs, works on the lizards so far. Shoot them in the face and they're blinded, then you can have you're way with them. Frogs are next. works good, seems very durable. Ammunition is cheap. No need for the iodized ammunition.

I purchased one right after they were introduced on the market. I have killed hundreds of flies, some camel crickets with multiple shots and a carpenter bee with multiple shots. There is no other easier safe way to kill the pesky critters. I have even lukily killed a few on the wing. It sure beats missing them with a swatter or rolled up newspaper.

My husband is the Fly sniper since I bought him the Bug a salt gun. I think he leaves the door open on purpose , just so those Darn Flies can come in. And I went to fill the salt shaker and I had no salt in the pantry, what did I say honey!!!!! HE SAYS what? It was Rusty the dog. Anyway my husband totally enjoys this gun he says Chris Kyle has nothing on him. Great product the only thing that that could make it better if it had a vacuum attached.

I received the camo Bug A Salt for my birthday close to a year ago and when we moved to the country, our property was infested with Mud Dauber Wasps, the standard type as well as the Blue and Black Mud Daubers. I have sprayed them, set out traps for them and in the process, I got stung by a Blue wasp on my thigh and it hit me in the wrong place. I wound up with a blood infection, lots of swelling and a whole lot of pain to go with it. Since then, I declared war on those wasps and I began attacking them with my Bug A Salt and have been taking them down faster than I could with spray. Granted, it takes more than a couple of hits but they go down and once they are down, I finish them off. All in all, I bet I have nailed down well over 30 wasps over the last several days and I am very happy with my shooter. It has been a lot of fun and the wasps try to escape after the first shot. But, I am always ready for them when they return. This shooter takes down all kinds of other critters such as spiders, lady bugs, small beetles and just about everything else. So far, I have yet to see anything that it hasn't had results on.

I bought one for my grandpa that was about 2 months ago i have not seen him sense. At the house he lets all the doors open for them boogers to get in the house. I dont think he has slept sense.

I was given a gun for xmas. In addition to being deadly with flys, it also does a great job on spiders and roaches. Much more fun than swatting with a newspaper! In Florida, I don't know how I've survived without one. (Look for a sale. Paying $40 for this, in my opinion is nuts).

Got a bug-a-salt for Christmas, works great on stickbugs, spiders, moths and flies. This is an adult toy, it takes a little power to lock and load, then take the safety off, and be within 2 to three feet of you target, flies will allow you to get that close. Like any weapon find out you pattern on a piece of aluminum foil, practice to find out how you are aim is, then go hunting. Can't wait for picnic season it may not kill yellow jacket but it will see. Use only fine table salt, not coarse. Happy hunting

I bought two of these Bug-A-Salt guns for me and my daughter. We love them. Gonna buy the Laser pointer soon. Don't listen to the Haters. Buy this gun.

Bug-A-Salt w/ laser sight works best for taking out spiders, especially Black Widows, without getting too close, and with no chemicals. My daughter loves her BAS.

I've had mine for 5 months now and I have killed hundreds of flies. I have had no problems and the gun works great after probably more than a thousand shots already. I have become a "dead shot" hehe, and no fly is safe once I see them. I have even shot a few out of the air, skeet shooting style. I have also killed or neutralized many moths and a couple grasshoppers. Another plus of this gun is it leaves little mess. Every once in awhile it will blow them into a bloody mess but nothing like a swatter. Anyways, as far as I'm concerned, this is a totally awesome product that I highly recommend.

I bought this as a gift for my wife, but I think I will have as much fun with it. It is well made, and hopefully will standup to long term use. It is simple to use .
