Can Acephate Pro 75 SP Insecticide be mixed with water and applied with a hand pump sprayer?

Answer:

Acephate Pro 75 SP Insecticide is not labeled to be mixed with water.  It should only be used to treat fire ant mounds in the yard by sprinkling the product itself on the mounds.  Orthene 97 Spray Insecticide would be an alternative acephate insecticide is mixed with water and labeled for applications to trees, ornamentals and turf for insects. Please refer to the Rate Chart on page 4 for mix rates based off using 1 gallon, 25 gallon and 100 gallons of finished solution.
