Can Avenue South Broadleaf Herbicide for Turfgrass be mixed with atrazine?

Can I spray both Avenue South and Atrazine at the same time? Will it be more effective? Will it affect my St. Augustine?

Answer:

Since St. Augustine turfgrass is so sensitive, we would not recommend mixing a product like Avenue South Broadleaf Herbicide with other active ingredients. Atrazine is generally very gentle on the turfgrass, but the Avenue South already has multiple active ingredients. You may want to wait a few weeks between applications if you are using the Atrazine as a post-emergent herbicide.
