My St. Augstine lawn has gone dormant for the winter, however I have yellow woodsorrel actively growing/taking over. I've traditionally only sprayed Blindside in the Spring (at maximum rate - 0.23) so not sure if this is a good idea.
We would not recommend applying Blindside Herbicide WDG during winter months as the temperatures are not warm enough for the herbicide to be effective or absorbed. Blindside WDG being a post emergent should be applied when temperatures are between 65 to 85 degrees. If you really would like to treat now, you can use Roundup products to spot treat the actively growing weeds on your dormant grass.
