Jeffrey from Greenville, Nc writes

Can Celsius WG Herbicide be applied in January when temperatures are 30-60°F to kill clover that is actively growing in a "dormant" centipede lawn?

The centipede is brown and the clover is popping. Is there any danger of damage to “dormant” centipede (it's not really dormant) if Celsius is applied?

Answer:

Celsius WG Herbicide is labeled as safe to use on centipede during any dormant/growing season for actively growing weeds. The product label does advise that weed control is more rapid when soil temperatures are above 65 degrees and slower when soil temperatures are below 65 degrees.
