Can Cyper WSP be used to treat for sand flies and noseeums on the exterior of my home, foundation, plants, patio pavers and grass areas? If so, what is the residual of the application?

I have been using Cypermethrin but it's not lasting even 2 weeks, would this work or last longer?

Answer:

Cyper WSP is not labeled for noseeums, gnats or sand flies. We would recommend looking at our Mosquito Control Kit – Professional that provides a residual insecticide, syngergist pyrethrin for contact kill, an Insect Growth Regulator to stop the reproduction cycle as well as larvacide to treat areas of standing water.  Treatment for noseeums, gnats, sand flies and mosquitoes are typically the same treatment. Take a moment to review our Mosquito Treatment Guide for more information.  If treating around bodies of water, Essentria Mosquito and Tick Concentrate or EcoVia MT Mosquito and Tick Control would be recommended as it is safe for aquatic life.
