To avoid any turf damage, Drive XLR8 should be applied when temperatures are between 65-85 degrees.  It would be best to apply in the early morning or in the evening so that the product has sufficient time to dry before temperatures get above this range.  For best results, Drive XLR8 Herbicide Crabgrass Killer should be used along with a methylated seed oil surfactant such as Duo Stick Methylated Seed Oil.
