Can either Mavrik Perimeter or Mosquito Guard be mixed with 2,4-D safely and effectively?

Answer:

There are not restrictions on mixing most herbicides and insecticides; however, we do not recommend mixing broadleaf herbicides with products you are using for mosquito control such as Mavrik. This is because you will need to treat ornamental shrubs, low tree branches, etc. to treat for mosquitoes effectively, yet an herbicide like 2,4-D will harm these desirable ornamental plants.
