Janis from North Port writes

Can Ike's Sandbur and Crabgrass Preventer be used to control Florida Pusley in a Southwest Florida possibly bahiagrass or bermudagrass lawn?

Answer:

Ike's Sandbur and Crabgrass Preventer is labeled for warm season turfgrasses such as bahiagrass and bermudagrass for pre emergent control of Floria Pusley and other listed weeds. Being a pre emergent, this product will not control weeds once they are actively growing and should be applied in early spring and late fall for best results. For post emergent control of actively growing Florida Pusley and other broadleaf weeds, Ferti-lome Weed Free Zone would be recommended and safe for bahia and bermuda. View the product label for more information and our Warm Season Lawn Care Calendar for general timing recommendations.
