How Cutrine Plus Algaecide needs to be applied will depend somewhat on the size water you are treating and how much (if any) water flow there is in the water. Per the product label: For effective control, proper chemical concentration must be maintained for a minimum of three hours contact time. For most applications you will need to dilute the Cutrin Plus with enough water to ensure equal distribution with the equipment used. Typical dilution range is 9:1 with a backpack-type sprayer or up to 50:1 when using water pump equipment or large tank sprayers.
