Can Merit 0.5 G Insecticide Granules be used in potted roses? If so, what is the rate?

Answer:

Merit 0.5 G Insecticide Granules are intended for applications to turfgrass and selective landscaped areas only per the product label instructions. It should not be applied to containerized/potted plants.  Bonide Systemic Granules Insect Control is labeled to be used containerize plants, roses, houseplants and flowers. Please refer to page 5 of the product label for Application Rates for Rose Plants and for Containerized Plants by gallon size.
