For root aphids, we would suggest using Monterey Horticultural Oil as a foliar spray application to the leaves and stems of the roses and using Dominon 2L as a systemic application to the root zone. Dominon 2L is should be applied at the rate of 0.2 oz per inch of trunk diameter for trees or per foot of shrub height for bushes.
