Can Monterey Spurge Power be sprayed in beds around shrubs and bulbs?

Violets were introduced into my beds with hosta cuttings from a family member and are taking over. Will the spurge hurt the other plants in the bed and if so what do you recommend?

Answer:

For broadleaf weeds around shrubs and bulbs, you will want to spot treat with a non-selective herbicide like Roundup Quick Pro. Many herbicides that are labelled to kill broadleaf weeds will also kill desireables.
