Can Nuvan Strips damage the finish on things like electric guitars?

I am worried about bed bugs getting into guitar cases. I took the cases and put 2 in a bag and placed a nuvan strip inside the bag inside of the plastic casing. Will this damage the guitars?

Answer:

Nuvan ProStrips only release a vapor to kill insects listed on the label, it should not damage any items at all when used as directed. You will have to leave the bag sealed for 2 weeks to kill anything that could be in the cases.
