Can I "paint" Crossbow onto blackberry canes? What dilution?

My daughter and her husband just bought a house. The previous owner pulled or cut down then mulched over blackberries which are now sprouting up everywhere. This is in the city and the neighbors (and their gardens) are close by. I don't want to risk drifting onto their garden. Can I paint Crossbow directly onto the emerging canes? What dilution would I use?

Answer:

Crossbow is labeled to be used on Blackberry at 1.5 gallon mixed solution per acre. For specific treatment procedures: Use a boom type or other broadcast spray equipment that provides uniform spray coverage over the top of the foliage and make applications when plants are growing well. The favorable period for treatment is most likely to occur after full leaf in the spring and continue into early summer, depending on soil moisture and other conditions.  Follow up treatment with foliar high-volume or basal type treatments may be needed, especially if treating under less favorable conditions.
