Can I put the root stimulator at a specific time of the day? And better before rain or when sunny and dry ?

Also, we planted 3 gardenia bushes in January. The vendor told us to put the root stimulator at the end of February (living in south Louisiana). We were out of town and now are ready to put the root stimulator. is it too late? How to do it ? Thanks

Answer:

Normally Ferti-Lome Root Stimulator and Plant Starter Solution 4-10-3 is applied as you are putting the new tree/plant into the soil. Applying this product in calm weather when rain is not predicted for the next 24 hours will help to ensure that wind or rain does not blow or wash pesticide off the treatment area.
