Can spray Gordons Trimec Classic Broadleaf Herbicide all over my yard and not kill the grass? Also, can I mix together Surflan & Trimec?

Answer:

You could potentially apply Suflan Pro Herbicide with  Gordons Trimec Classic Broadleaf Herbicide  herbicide as long as neither label prohibits such use and both can be used in the same areas. However, you want to be sure that you are applying your products at the optimal time for the weeds you are targeting. Pre-emergents must be applied before weeds germinate, which is usually when soil temperatures are between 50-55 degrees. Post-emergent herbicides will be most effective when target weeds are young and actively growing; for most herbicides this is in the range of 60-85 degrees. Be sure to calibrate products properly, and if you are mixing two products that have not previously been verified to work together, it is best to do a small jar test for compatability first.  Gordons Trimec Classic Broadleaf Herbicide is labeled safe in many cool and warm season turfgrasses, please check the label to ensure your specific grass type is tolerant before application.
