I have multiple French doors that lead in/out of the home. They are double open doors with a separation/crevice between them. After spraying the crevices, the door handles and areas adjacent to the handles are affected. Once dried is it safe for hands to contact these areas and for those same hands to eat foods without washing? I have little kids that enter/exit these doors and may not always wash their hands prior to eating.
It would be recommended to remove any overspray of Talstar P Professional Insecticide from the door handles as this is not a labeled area for use. You can do so with warm water and soap. It is best to set your sprayer to a pin stream when needing to apply around door frames/hinges to prevent overspray to nontarget areas.
