Can the Reward Herbicide get rid of creeping vines in my flower bed?

I keep digging the vines up but they just keep coming back. I am digging them up by the root. I can't get to the root of those that are up against the foundation of the house. Can you help me with this please.

Answer:

Reward Herbicide contains diquat, which has quick burndown but does not do a good job getting through the root systems of plants like vines. Reward is also a non-selective herbicide, so you must be very careful using it around desirable plants. If you need an herbicide to target brush and vines specifically, we would recommend a product that contains the active ingredient triclopyr, such as Fertilome Brush Killer and Stump Killer. Keep in mind that the brush killer can also harm flowers and other ornamental plants, so you want to be very careful to spot treat the vines that you are trying to kill. Another application method is to cut the vines and then paint the herbicide onto the fresh cuts.
