Can I use 2lbs/A Prodiamine 65 WDG on one app to get longer control on bermuda grass?

I am using on established bermuda in Oklahoma. I am wondering if i can use 2lb/A on one app safely to get a longer duration of control or is it better to split it up in 2 applications?

Answer:

Prodiamine 65 WDG (Generic Barricade) would be applied at the rate of 1.5 lbs per Acre to achieve the longest residual of up to 8 months.  Quali-Pro Prodiamine 65 WDG may be applied more than once a year as long as the total amount applied is not greater than the maximum application rate per calendar year for the turf species.  The max rate per year for this product on bermuda grass is 1.0 - 2.30 lbs per Acre.
