Can I use a backpack sprayer or what's the best way to use Essentria IC3 in my home for a flea infestation?

I have all wood floors with some area rugs. Can I spray the wood floors and rugs? Should I not mop the floors afterwards for 4 weeks?

Answer:

Although Essentria IC3 Insecticide Concentrate is labeled for indoor treatments, it's not labeled to be used on rugs or carpeted areas and it is an oil based product so there is a risk of staining as well. If you're only treating indoors, we would recommend to use something like NyGuard Plus, it is a water based product and can be used to treat pet resting areas, rugs, carpets and can be used on floors, although some floors are more "sensitive" than others we do recommend spot treating a small inconspicuous area first to be sure it's safe on your floor. We recommend reading over our Flea Treatment Guide for further tips and info.
