Can I use Drexel Imitator Plus for weeds in dormant Bermuda grass?

Answer:

Yes, Drexel Imitator Plus can be used as a spot treatment in dormant Bermuda grass. According to the product label, this product will provide control or suppression of many winter annual weeds in dormant Bermuda. Please keep in mind that if the Bermuda turf is not fully dormant, this product could hard the grass. The product label also states to treat only when the turf is dormant and prior to Spring Greenup. Spot treatments or broadcast applications of this product in excess of 16 fluid ounces per acre may result in injury or delayed greenup in highly maintained turfgrass areas, i.e. golf courses, lawns, etc. DO NOT APPLY TANK MIXTURES of this product plus Oust in highly maintained Turfgrass areas.
