Can I use Ferti-lome Weed Free Zone on Citra Blue St. Aug? Will it kill Spurge?

I have two 100yr old oaks? 1/2 of front yard will it harm under them? What if 1 day in week it get to 85 degr. then over 85 before 30 days over? I put it down, lawn man mowed 1 hr after, rained that night and it is still killing weeds. GREAT STUFF!!

Answer:

Ferti-lome Weed Free Zone can be applied to St. Augustine (excluding Floratam and Bitterblue varieties) when listed weeds (including spurge) are young and actively growing as directed on the product label. Temperatures should be above 50 and less than 90 degrees to avoid injury to your turf (avoid appplications to drought stressed turf). Delay mowing 1 to 2 days before or after the application of this product. It should not be applied to trees and should only be used outside the dripline of any tree whether young or mature.
