Can I use Monterey Fruit Tree & Vegetable Systemic Soil Drench on an avocado tree to control lace bugs?

Will it kill bees pollenating the flowers? Can you safely eat the avocados as they ripen in 6-9 months?

Answer:

Monterey Fruit Tree & Vegetable Systemic Soil Drench can be applied to the following:
Fruit & Nut Trees: Apple, Cherry, Citrus, Peach and Plum
Fruits: Blueberries, Grapes, Raspberries and Strawberries
Vegetables: Carrots, Cucumbers, Herbs, Melons, Peppers and Tomatoes
A common product our customers use for insect and disease control on their edibles is the Fertilome Triple Action Plus. It is a natural/organic product that can be applied every 7-14 days or as needed when conditions for the insects or diseases are present. This product is labeled for lace bugs. You can also apply this product up to day of harvest. It is toxic to bees if exposed to direct treatment.
