In researching otc spot flea/tick preventatives for my dogs, I came across this product. I see that it contains the same ingredient, Imidacloprid, as K 9 Advantix. Purchasing those tiny pre-measured doses of K9 Advantix is VERY costly, so I thought I would see if I could buy a bottle of this and dispense 1mL/25lbs as directed on the Advantix. I have 3 sixty lb Boxers.
We can only recommend uses for a product that are allowed on the label. Even though Dominion is the same active ingredient as what is in K9 Advantix, the label does not permit placing the products directly on your pets. Therefore we cannot recommend that use of the product.
