Can we use Casoron around the base of recently planted Leyland Cypress?

Planted 50 Leyland Cypress trees that are small (starters probably 1 year old) about 2 months ago.

Answer:

Casoron 4G Herbicide is not labeled to be applied around Leyland Cypress so we cannot recommend doing so.  Snapshot TG would be a better option for pre-emergent weed control around them.
