Elizabeth from Winter Haven, Florida writes

Can you add a pre-emergent to SpeedZone Southern Herbicide?

And Sedgehammer for nutsedge?

Answer:

You can mix and apply other herbicides with SpeedZone Southern Herbicide as long as you first perform a small jar test for compatability. You also need to be sure to follow the most restrictive label when mixing products, and be sure that you are using the correct rates for each product. Keep in mind, also, that pre-emergent herbicides will need to be watered in with rainfall or irrigation within the amount of time specified on the label, while a post-emergent like the SpeedZone Southern should have at least 24 hours without rainfall or irrigation for best results. Please note that Speedzone Southern has been discontinued and replaced with Speedzone Southern Herbicide EW.
