We have alot of gnats in our grass. When our dogs are outside laying down they are covered in them. Trying to find a non-harmful way to get rid of them.
BTI Mosquito Dunks are only meant to be used in standing water areas like bird baths, ponds, etc. If you wanted to treat your lawn for gnats you would want to use an actual insecticide like Bifen I/T which is a clear drying insecticide that would last on the lawn for at least 30 days to give continuous control over the gnat population and would be completely safe for your pet to lay on once dry. Bifen I/T is used at the rate of 0.5-1 oz per gallon of water and can be sprayed on lawns, bushes, trees, hedges, flowers, etc for gnat/mosquito control.
