    Humane mouse trap

    By Susan on 10/11/2019

I'm very pleased with the quality of construction and the ease in handling. I also appreciated being able to trap mice humanly. It is easy to open the top lid to place food into the trap and then the clear lid is ideal for identifying when you have trapped a mouse. I ordered two and they are great.

    Catching mice

    By Brian on 10/04/2019

This product is working to catch mice. I have been using peanut butter to lure them in and it is working well. The trap is well constructed. Durable to use inside and outside. The lid opens smoothly and easily, but not so easy that animals can open it.

Reliable, easy to use humane trap

    By Niki on 09/13/2019

I love this trap. It catches plenty of mice, sometimes more than one at a time and is super easy and fast to let them go again. You just have to remember to check it frequently or it becomes inhumane.

    By Carol on 06/15/2019

Mice only go near it when it is open. Not one mouse has fallen for this trap ,very disappointing!

    EASY and ESCAPE PROOF!

    By Pamela on 04/23/2019

I gotta admit, I was pretty excited waiting for this trap to be delivered. We have horses that do not stay in our barn much. That doesn't mean the mice don't. My office is in the barn with a picture window facing the aisle. It's like a mouse freeway at night! On large acreage, we will always have mice, but this was out of control. We were using a single Havahart trap and catching 1 or 2 a day/night. AND if left in that long enough, they sometimes escape. Enter the Catchmaster 612 Multi Catch! Put it in our tack room, which is a favorite place for them. 3 days...no mice. I ALMOST called with a complaint Then, just thought maybe they needed time to get used to the trap being there. I had baited with a bit of peanut butter on the inside by the vents so they could smell it. I cleaned it out, re baited and waited. 3 MICE THE NEXT MORNING! YAY. Since then we have never had less than 2 in it. I am loving this trap. Easy, anyone can use this trap. No setting” and no escaping. I am pretty darn happy with this one!

    So far ineffective

    By Chris on 04/18/2019

Purchased this trap, along with Victor traps with yellow area on top and Catchmaster sticky paper; the latter to monitor insect activity. 3 of these multitraps were placed with opening along wall where a mouse was seen. After approx 2 wks have not attracted any mice. Cheese and sticky paper were placed inside. The Victor traps (same cheese) have caught 3 and 3 have happened upon sticky paper. Will continue to monitor and update if anything changes. So far have considered returning.

    Superior Product

    By Sam on 03/01/2019

I was dubious when I unpacked my four but I baited with dry dog food and within the hour one trap had a dozen mice and the others had several each. The mice don't seem to learn to avoid them like they do snap traps. This is the first time I have completely eliminated the problem. They are convenient to leave set and the dogs can't get caught or trip them. Extremely Satisfied.

    It does the job

    By John on 10/20/2018

I bought 2 of these traps. One for each side if my garage. Within a week, W/ a glue trap, i have caught two small mice. I do not see any further damage form rodents in my garage. We will see as the months get colder and rodents are looking for a warm place to winter it out.

multiple mouse trap catch & release

    By Rabbitreviewer on 06/30/2018

This the best multiple mouse trap I've bought. I do a catch and release and you can see the little guys through the clear top. Got a family of 5 my first night of use. Easy to open for release. I'm buying more.

    Catchmaster Mouse Traps

    By Robert on 06/15/2018

Be sure to use a heavy duty glue pad. Mice can escape the same way they get in. Although the trap door is suppose to close locking them in, they can escape easily. Also some of my traps that I ordered do not lock shut requiring tape to keep them closed. Disappointed since I used these before.

    Worked well for years, But

    By Expert on 12/08/2017

I have recommended the style of trap for years, because it works beautifully. But this year, two or three of my mice figured it out! They came in, ate the peanut butter, and left! I still recommend this, because it works so well, for so long. I just now need to change it up a bit!

    Mouse catcher

    By Sue on 11/24/2017

The best way to catch mice, versus traps. I don't release my mice so they can come back in.

    Dumbfounded

    By Lisa on 11/23/2017

Caught a mouse in the morning. Before I could take somewhere to release it. He somehow broke one of the trap doors and escaped. I now call him Houdini. 1st time trying it no longer usable. Waste of money.

    Great way to catch mice

    By Jeffrey on 11/04/2017

    Verified Purchase

This works well with a bit of peanut butter. Catches mice and keeps them for a bit. I love the "no kill" aspect of this and the cleanup is very good. Easy to release the mice after catching. I previously had plastic traps but the mice chewed through them. this metal is a good alternative.

    Works Great

    By Richard on 09/29/2017

Works great, caught four mice in two days with one trap using peanut butter on a paper towel cut in four slices, I bought twelve traps, I shaded them to create a dark safe place, I would recommend them to a friend.

    Great trap

    By John on 08/28/2017

I was a little skeptical when I seen the traps, but put them in the shop and have caught three mice in two of the four traps set this week. These traps in my view work very well, I also put mouse poison in the boxes so I won't have to deal with live mice.

    Worked well for the price.

    By Kaht on 06/29/2017

I have a problem in my aviary where mice like to pilfer the doves' sunflower seeds from their feed bowl. Moved the bowl for the night, put one of these loaded with sunflower seeds in the same spot. Next morning, I have three little thieving rodents in it frantically scurrying around. They are a bit flimsy in structure, but I only paid $7 for it at Walmart, so hopefully it catches a lot more mice before it wears out.

    Better than a cat !

    By Bruce on 06/01/2017

This thing did the job in only two days. Great design in that the top of the trap is clear allowing you to easily see if there are "visitors." Two mice in two days and we're now rodent free. Like everything else we've bought from these folks this one is reasonably priced, easy to use, and it WORKS !

    Love this item!!

    By Janel on 05/02/2017

This live trap is amazing!! We have caught 11 mice so far! I run an animal rescue and do not want poison out as I have several dogs that can possibly get in it, not to mention I don't need the smell of the mice in my walls after they die. This is a great way to catch the mice, the product is inexpensive and very effective!! I highly recommend anyone with the mouse problem to get this trap!!

    Humane mouse trap!

    By Heidi on 01/25/2017

Very easy to use, requires no set-up, and no dead, bloody mouse body to dispose off. Carry to release area, open the lid, and let the mouse go.

    Magic!

    By Scott on 11/24/2016

I thought I had only one mouse living under my house, so I bought this trap to catch it and release it on the other side of town. No mouse on the first day, but the second day, I caught one. I took it about 10 miles away and let it run off. When I got home, I put the trap back, but with no bait. About an hour later, another one walked into the trap! Long story short, I caught three mice! No more squeaks coming from under my house! This is a simple, yet wonderful trap. The mice cannot escape no matter how hard they try.

    no mice inside yet

    By Denise on 11/17/2016

So far there isn't any mice trap inside since I got it. Maybe the mice are too smart or the mice couldn't get inside...

    Expert Response  Expert response:
If you haven't had traps very long, then you may need to give the rodents a few days to trust the traps. You can also use a food attractant like peanut butter or pet food on the inside edge of the ramp to help lure mice into the traps.

Fabulous way to catch field mice!

    By Kerry on 10/11/2016

I bought two of these live-catch traps. One for my infested garage, and one for the house. The garage rodents were disposed of in three days, often with multiple catches. I did add a glue board to the trap for bait. The mouse that I knew I had in the house was caught the second day the trap was out, also with a glue board inside. These worked much better than just the glue boards by themselves.

    smart or lazy mice

    By Mike on 09/14/2016

I used this at a friend's house. He has been trying to get rid of some mice for over a year with no luck. They can be heard in the attic and occasionally spotted running across the floor at night. We put dry cat food in it, checked it two days later and nothing. Haven't had time to try anything else, if we ever get it working we'll update.

    Expert Response  Expert response:
We apologize you have not received the expected results! When trapping mice, trap placement is very important. You want to make sure the trap is placed parallel to a wall directly in the travel path of the mice. Can you tell us how the trap was placed?

    A mousetrap that really works

    By Ron on 06/29/2016

This really worked... We never had mice in the house but suddenly found a small family of mice had gotten into the kitchen. I wanted an effective way to catch them without hurting them and then release them into the woods. The Multi-catch Mouse Trap was easy to bait and set out. Within two hours a few small mice were trapped.... We did this over a period of a day and trapped all the mice without hurting them.
