    Q
How often should you reapply CB-80 aerosol?
After CB 80 has been used in the home how often would you recommend it be reapplied for home past prevention?
    A

CB-80 Aerosol does not leave a residual, it is used for flush out and/or contact kill. If you are looking for an insecticide aerosol to spray on baseboards, cracks, and crevices that will leave a residual, you can use Cy-Kick Aerosol instead.

    Q
    Treating bugs inside house walls
I recently saw a video where an exterminator drilled a hole into an exterior wall and sprayed CB-80 into it to kill wasps or ants. I want to use the same method to kill an ant colony that is coming up through cracks in our baseboards. Would you recommend drilling holes near the baseboards and spraying CH-80 into them - or is there a better chemical to use to kill an ant colony under a house?
    A

CB-80 Aerosol can be used in wall voids per label. We would recommend taking a look at our ant treament guide.

    Q
How can I kill little flies? Can I use CB-80 Aerosol?
These little flies comes up out of the sink every year around this time. Do you have a product especially to kill them and stop them from coming back?
    A

CB-80 is a great option for knock down of flying insects. Without knowing what species of pest you are treating for or dealing with specifically, its hard to give accurate treatment information. We'd recommend looking at our Drain Fly Guide and our Fruit Fly Guide to determine which pest you are treating for, and to help locate and narrow down the primary areas/drains they are coming from in the home. The guides also go over step by step instructions for eliminating each pest, and have kits and product recommendations provided.

    Q
I have nest of German roaches living in the digital display if my oven. Will CB-80 benefit?
Cockraches in the digital display of my GE glasstop stove/oven. A GE tech will be inspecting. I am curious if with the nozzle pipe in using this product, I would be able to kill the buggers?
    A

CB-80 Aerosol is only a contact kill & does not leave any sort of residual. It is also not intended to be used inside appliances. Roaches have to come out to eat/drink water at some point, you may consider using Advion Cockroach Bait Arena near where they are. When they come out, they will feed on it & eventually perish

    Q
    CB-80 Aerosol Compatible with Bait?
Is CB-80 compatible for use in the same area as bait if I apply CB-80, wait for it to dry completely, and then apply bait? I would like to flush out cracks and crevices behind my kitchen cabinets. I know I cannot bait first then spray CB-80 in the same area. To maximize the effects of both, how long do I need to wait before applying bait in the same areas that I am applying CB-80? I do not want to contaminate bait. I cannot find anything about CB-80 being non-repellent or repellant and I know repellants can make bait ineffective.
    A

If you go with the CB-80 Aerosol, I'd suggest using bait in cabinets or places you can't or wouldn't want to spray to help offer control where the pockets seem to be hiding. Spray CB-80 into hiding places such as cracks and crevices, behind sinks, cabinets, along baseboards and floors, around drains and plumbing, hitting insects with spray whenever possible. Keep the area closed for 15 minutes. Open and ventilate before reoccupying. Repeat treatment as necessary. CB-80 is a contact-kill aerosol that has a slightly repellent nature. This product will only kill on contact and is not meant to be used as a repellent. Most aerosol insecticides are not meant to be used as repellents but rather as knockdown agents to kill the insects.

    Q
Do I need to leave the area if using CB-80 Aerosol directly on a bug?
    A

CB-80 Aerosol is a flushing & contact insecticide used for a variety of insects. If spraying as direct spray to kill insects when seen, you would not need to leave the room for any extended amount of time. If used as a flushing application along baseboards, cracks and crevices you would want to leave the room until the application has dried and the room has been ventilated. Please refer to the product label for the specific insects you are targeting and the recommended time frame for re-entry if applicable.

    Q
Which is the best long lasting residual product to treat behind siding and in weep holes to treat for stinkbugs and wasps?
    A

CB-80 Aerosol is a contact kill only aerosol and labeled for a variety of pests but does not leave a residual. The best treatment for the exterior perimeter of the home would be use a residual insecticide spray along with a dust to treat inside weep holes, behind gaps in siding, etc.

Using Suspend Polyzone to treat the exterior perimeter foundation to include along edges/corners of siding, around windows, doors, where utilities enter the home and under soffits.

Delta Dust Insecticide is recommended to be applied using a Bellow Hand Duster to directly treat in gaps, voids, joints, etc where insects can enter the home as well as inside wall voids where insects are believe to be located.

Both of the products can also be used indoors for an indoor/outdoor pest control treatment.

    Q
Can CB-80 Aerosol be used for fleas in the house? How much and how many times do I need to spray to get rid of them?
Do you spray a lot of it? How long do I need to keep cats out of the room?
    A

CB-80 Aerosol can be used for fleas indoors and will only provide a contact kill to fleas that are sprayed directly. This product can  be applied to pet sleeping quarters, bedding, floor and floor covering where pets are kept. Do not oversaturate or soak areas, apply till slightly damp and repeat as necessary.

Fleas require repeat applications to eliminate them and also require a combination of an insecticide to kill fleas and an IGR to stop the growth cycle of juvenile fleas.  Our Indoor Flea Kit would be the best all around treatment for fleas indoors and will provide enough product to do the recommended repeat applications.

View our Indoor Flea Kit Video and Treatment Guide for more information.

    Q
Crawl space sewer flies, can I use CB-80 Aerosol?
I had a broken drain pipe in my crawl space which has lead to a colony of sewer flies. I've fixed the drain pipe but the crawl space is saturated with waste from the kitchen sink. I'm trying to wait for the space to dry out and to treat with bleach but I'm the meantime the flies are everywhere. I want to use this product to kill and control the fly population until the area dries. Will this be a good fit?
    A

CB-80 Aerosol is a contact kill that can be used when seeing flies in the crawl space area. For a residual spray, OneGuard can be applied at 1.0 to 2.0 fl oz per gallon and broadcasted on the surface but also around the exterior perimeter foundation.

    Q
Is CB-80 safe to fog equipment in animal feed production equipment?
Can CB-80 be used to kill Red Flour Beetles inside of machinery, ingredient bins, conveyors used to produce animal feed? Would it be deemed "Feed Safe"?
    A

CB-80 is not for use on anything edible or electronic/machinery, the label does state: Spray into cracks and crevices, processing and handling equipment, around cartons or containers and other areas where these insects tend to congregate.  So only around the areas where the bins/grain are stored more to kill those insects you make contact with during application.

Evergreen Pyrethrum Concentrate would be a better option for spraying down bins, stored grain and other areas listed on the label as a contact kill.

    Q
Can CB-80 Aerosol be used on ropes and lines connecting my boat to the land based dock to eradicate spiders and prevent spider webs?
    A

CB-80 Aerosol cannot be used around bodies of water where there is aquatic life or chance of wind drift into bodies of water.

WebOut Cobweb Eliminator would be a better option as it kills spiders and prevents spider webs on any surface that may support spider web development. This product can also be used as a contact pesticide to kill ants, crickets, mosquitoes, cockroaches, perimeter pest insects and other general pests. This is a Ready To Use product and has a 30-60 day residual outdoors.

Please view the product label for more information.
