  • Asked by Jim from Long Island Ny

    Q
Cleary 3336 for root drench of flowering plums and cherry tree?
I have dogs and would prefer to root drench for pruned flowering cherry and plum trees. Is root drench effective. If not I have a hose end sprayer and PPE. I can reach the top of the canopy with sprayer if this is the only effective method of application.
    A

Clearys 3336F Fungicide is not labeled for any drench application on fruit trees it is only applied directly to the foliage as directed on the product label. The rate given for cherry and plum trees is for larger areas, given per acre at the rate of 22.5 oz per acre in 100 gallons which breaks down to 1.41 tsp per gallon.  You could use a hose end sprayer to apply Clearys 3336F as long as you can properly calibrate it to spray the recommended amount of product per gallon of water, though it is not as accurate as using a pump/backpack sprayer.

  • Asked by Eze from Miami, Florida
    02/07/2024
    Q
I did not water 3336F Fungicide after application, should I water it anyway (24hs after) or reapply and water.
On the label it did not say to water it. But then reading other costumers questions I saw the recommendation to water after application.
    A

3336F Fungicide is applied with sufficent water at the time of application with no rainfall/irrigation with 24 hours of the application.  Per the label only specific diseases require watering in after application so in general it is not needed. You should not apply more fungicide to the area before the interval timing listed on the label per area.

  • Asked by Tai from Pelham, Al
    09/07/2022
    Q
Can 3336F Fungicide be tank mixed with Propiconazole for one spray application?
    A

It is possible to mix two fungicides together as long as they have different active ingredients and modes of action. Clearys 3336 (Group 1) can be tank mixed with Prime Source's Propiconazole 14.3 Fungicide (Group 3) by following the Tank Mixing Instructions listed on the individual product labels.

If treating for an active lawn dieseas, we recommend treating with one fungicide for 2-3 applications at the recommended day intervals per the product label then rotate to the 2nd fungicide for the same number of applications and interval period per that fungicide product label.

  • Asked by Ron from Allendale, Mi

    Q
What do you recommend for active and present Pythium blight?
    A
3336F Fungicide will not control or prevent Pythium Blight.

For prevention of Pythium Blight, Headway G Fungicide would be a recommended preventative fungicide to apply in the fall. This granular fungicide uses 2 active ingredients, Azoxystrobin & Propiconazole to provide different modes of action for preventative applications.

For control of Pyrthium Blight in Spring/Summer, Prime Source Propam Select Fungicide can be used in a fungicide rotation program to control and prevent Pythium Blight.

Please view our Pythium Blight Treatment Guide in our Lawn Care Guides section of the website for more information.

  • Asked by Hedrick from New Orleans La
    08/28/2022
    Q
Can 3336F Fungicide be used on cactus varieties such as Lophophora and other button cactus?
    A

The only comments in regards to cactus on the Clearys 3336F product label is that it should not be used on Easter Cactus.

We would recommend consulting with your County Extension Office for a positive id of the disease and for approved fungicide recommendations as 3336F Fungicide is only labeled for applications to lawns, turfgrasses, bedding plants, annual and perennial flowers, trees and shrubs.

  • Asked by Matthew from Plainfield, Nj

    Q
I've noticed a white residue after spraying 3336F Fungicide and the application has dried, is this normal?
    A

Sometimes, a white residue may appear if the Clearys 3336F Fungicide is overapplied or if the product was over mixed. If you use the correct water volume and mix rate, then there should not be much of a white residue, if any at all. You may try watering the lawn to see if this helps to get rid of the white color.

Please be sure to review the product label for more information and complete application instructions.
