We've using it for years to keep mice out of farm equipment. We can sometimes see the little green turds they leave behind, but they are gone. A nice side benefit, it knocks off the chipmunks that eat the wiring in our vehicles GOOD STUFF

I am not a professional by any means, but, after following the instructions I had such success you would think otherwise. The truth be told--it was my son's project. I am terrified of of these creatures. My son waited patiently and after filling the Protecta Mouse Bait Station twice, they started dropping dead everywhere. The product DELIVERED in spite of my youngest son who chooses to eat everywhere in the house and thereby creating optional food sources.

this item was recommended by an exterminator, stating that while the item itself is expense. the product works great.So far so good, the service from (DoMYOwn) it must say has been excellent as well!

CONTRAC did not kill any rats. They carried blox to their nests but did not eat any. Desert rats are packrats and collect and store things. Problem now is how to dispose of CONTRAC safely. Did not deserve any stars. One star is the minimum allowed.

I place this bait in locations that barn rats are. Also, had another type of bait in the barn. This bait is still there after 3 weeks, the other bait is gone. I was hoping by having two different types of baits would do a real good job of control.

We had a serious rat infestation issue in a house we own. It was so bad that I actually thought we would never be able to save this house from total devastation. I purchased this having some reservations on if it would work or not. Within a week I was amazed and that all of the rodents were gone! I highly recommend this to anyone who needs to get rid of a big infestation! An excellent product and well worth the money!

We live in a community of single family homes. A family moved in next to us and instead of single family there was 3 families and several single men. Several weeks later we discovers they had caged chickens. Because we live outside of the city limits they can have chickens, but I don't believe the amount that they have. After that we start having rats in our patio. I bought the All Weather Rodenticide 18 lb and 3 rodent caf

What's there to say. This is my second 18 lb pail. domyown.com ships fast (and free). My feeding stations see lots of action. Sometimes it's a few months to go through ~20 blocks, and sometimes its only a few weeks.

Have six traps and the little critters love the stuff. Eat, leave and die elsewhere. No pick up or cleanup. Am going to put in my pole barn this Fall, to eliminate my mouse problem there

Love this product because we do a lot of farm places. There just happens to be a lot of pets around. This is quite safe for pets compared to other rodenticides.

Might be too early to tell but compared to the other brand I was using I'm not seeing any activity when placed side by side with another brand. The mice don't seem to like the taste or aroma.

I decided to ditch my exterminator and do my own after he said the company won't place bait outside anymore. I have chickens and lots of mice. The mice hit the bait hard. They ate almost 20 blocks in the first week. It has since slowed drastically now that they all died. I have a dog and was surprised that he knew the poison was dangerous. He growled fiercely at anyone who got near the bait station. I bought this poison because it is safer around kids and pets with an easily available antidote.

I live in the country and have used this product for over twenty years. I ran out once and bought Tomcat locally and began to see mice in the barn. I immediately ordered more Contract. As long as I keep my eighteen bait stations outside full I never get mice in the house.

Great product. Question? Over time, do rodents such as mice develop an immune tolerance to the product?

You should rotate baits every 4-6 months to prevent resistance buildup to rodenticides.

This product is amazing! I've tried lots of others, but nothing else comes close. I use the cubes around my barn when we have an infestation of rats, and within a day or two, they're gone!

I was able to abandon an expensive pest program by doing the work myself. The former service company left behind all the bait stations and all I had to do was check them and refill to keep a mouse problem in check in a summer cottage. I saved a lot of money by doing it myself and had the same results.

Since I've only had the products for a short amount of time, I'm giving them four stars. I'll come back later and give an updated review if they hold up to my expectations. What I like about the use of the Blox with a bait station is the ease in which I can put them where they are needed. As of this review, I have not seen any new mouse activity, whereas before I put them down, I was seeing mice on an average 1 to 2 every six weeks. That is, after the product I had in place had lost its effectiveness. I also have electronic pest chasers and they would still showed up; so that's when I got "Do My Own Pest Control." I think I like the Rodenticide and will continue to use it in conjunction with my other products.

Contrac Blox, used in Protecta bait boxes, has proved particularly effective in eliminating field rat damage around our rural home. We began using the Contrac product about a year ago after suffering several thousands of dollars of wiring damage on our vehicles. Previous approaches to the problem had provided little to no noticeable reduction. We place the bait boxes in and around our carport, barn and utility buildings, and we keep them baited year-round. No damage and no rat nests have been observed since the bait boxes have been in place. One word of caution: I made the mistake of disposing of bait remnants in an accessible trash container and subsequently caught my dogs eating those pieces (which undoubtedly smelled like the rats they hunt).

Use around my house and my vacation home. Place in garage and outside sheds in keyless bait stations. Since I began using - no mice found in the house.

I have been using the Contrac Bolcks for about two weeks. Haven't found any dead rats yet but the blocks are being consumed, although at a slower rate than the other brand of bait I was using. I think part of the reason for the slow consumption is the bait boxes. They don't allow as many rats to feed at one time. Time will tell if Contrac is effective or not.

within 2-3 days started seeing dead mice, we found maybe 1/2 dozen dead, but think many left the house after feeling sick from poison. It's been 3-4 weeks since we started putting bait down and has probably been over a week since we've seen a mouse.

It works well against both mice and raats. I highly recommend buying/using bait stations where the bait can be locked inside.

I have been using Contrac Blox for several years, and its performance has exceeded my expectations. Used in bait stations, it has resulted in no evidence whatsoever of the field rats that formerly caused several thousand dollars in vehicle repairs (gnawed electrical wires of all types). We use four bait stations in a carport and another four in a two-car garage. It is simple and quick to load the bait stations, and to check the stations periodically.

I've purchased this product twice now and I believe it is effective. The rodents enjoy the product and after they devour the contents of a bait box, I see fewer of them around the target area. The only reason I haven't given this five stars is I'm not sure how many pounds of Rodenticide I have to feed to the neighborhood rats before they all just go away. The answer may be hundreds of pounds over time. The bait I received came promptly and smells good and fresh.

I have used this product for 2 years provided by a pro Pest Control firm...I have just loaded my 4 boxes recently and have not checked them yet...Maybe in a couple of months.
